Stacy Waters is an award winning independent producer living in Berkeley, California. Over the past 20 years, she has produced programming ranging from documentaries to feature programs, travel shows and television news.

For ten years, Stacy worked as a news and special projects producer for the NBC affiliate in San Francisco where her work garnered numerous awards including Northern California NATAS Emmy awards, NATPE Iris Awards, as well as awards from the National Association of Broadcasters, and the American Film Institute.

Stacy has also worked in the non-profit sector, acting as Executive Producer of a project to assist television newsrooms in producing programming on important social issues. Recently, as an independent producer, Stacy has produced programs and presentations for other non-profit organizations including museums and the National Park Service.

Stacy received her undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and Masters Degree in Cultural and Social Anthropology from Stanford University.
