A New Valley Town Hall
on Economy & Workforce

Regional economic growth and employment in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys is the focus of New Valley: Help Wanted. Immediately following this edition of New Valley, KVIE presents, from Stockton, a special community town hall meeting to examine the issues that are shaping our region’s new economy with anticipation of providing new employment opportunities.

KVIE’s Pat McConahay of California Heartland and Jennifer Fischer of Central Valley Chronicles will host and moderate the event.

Panelists for this town hall meeting include, Mayor of Stockton Gary Podesto; Labor Market Consultant Liz Baker; the Director of the Work Force Investment Board John Solis; and San Joaquin County Office of Education Partnership for Tomorrow program director Candice Blue. The panelists, along with an audience of participants from throughout the region, discuss the issues that they face as individuals and community leaders.
